my city break in sofia was made even better by the amazing stay at this lovely villa. the friendly and hospitable family made me feel right at home, and the breathtaking view from the balcony was a highlight. the clean room and beautiful garden added to the overall charm. highly recommended!

Exceptionally clean and cheap rooms, perfect place overall!

Quirky and cosy accommodation with views over the mountain. Stunning setting to old town via buses is around 1hr. Nice surrounding, right by the beautiful garden as well as the forested slopes of mount Vitosha.

The location of the hotel is ideal, as it is near the city center and offers a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with some even having balconies to enjoy the scenery. The owners are very welcoming and provide excellent service, ensuring that guests have a pleasant stay. Additionally, there is a lovely garden where guests can relax and enjoy outdoor dining or even have a barbecue.

The hotel is located on the mountain side, making it difficult to access without a car. Taxis may be needed to get to the city center or other attractions.

The panoramic view from the room was absolutely breathtaking, and it was the perfect backdrop for a romantic escape. The sunrise and sunset over the city were simply magical. the garden surrounding the hotel provided a lovely and serene atmosphere for enjoying a romantic cup of coffee in the morning. It was the ideal spot to relax and plan our day together.

One thing that detracted from our romantic getaway was the cleanliness of the accommodations. The rooms could have been cleaner, and there was a strange odor in the bathrooms that was off-putting.

The staff here are welcoming and the rooms are affordable, located in a beautiful area.

villa pontica was the perfect choice for a relaxing holiday in sofia. the newly furnished room with a balcony and amazing night view exceeded our expectations. the friendly landlady made our birthday celebration special by helping with a cozy dinner. parking and the beautiful garden were added bonuses.

Friendly staff. Beautiful city view from room. Walkable distance to shops. No fridge in room, but one available in garden. Great restaurant nearby.

The value for money at this villa was really good. The room wasvery comfy and tidy, with beautiful views of the countryside and a nearby fortress.

Breakfast offerings could be improved with more variety.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and cute. The room had a beautiful view of the city and was bright and newly furnished. There was also a small balcony where we could enjoy the view. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a lovely garden where we could eat outside and even prepare our own barbeque. The cleanliness of the rooms was super clean, and we were provided with complimentary coffee and biscuits in the morning. The location of the hotel was great, with nearby facilities such as a supermarket and restaurants. There was also an option for parking, so we didn't have to worry about our car. The hotel was conveniently located near the city centre and it was easy to get to other places within a 15-20 minute drive.
